Brookside Estates is a community of over 400 families located in northwest Franklin County, situated between Dublin and Worthington, approximately ten miles northwest of downtown Columbus.

Neighborhood boundaries are Route 161 on the south, Snouffer Road on the north, the railroad on the east and Brookside West on the west. Brookside Country Club divides the area into Brookside East and Brookside West.

Brookside Estates is located primarily in Perry Township. Police protection is provided by Perry Township. Fire services are provided by the Worthington Fire Department. Township zoning is administered by a Perry Township zoning inspector.

The Worthington School District serves Brookside Estates. Public schools serving the immediate area are Brookside Elementary, Perry and Phoenix Middle Schools, and Worthington Kilbourne High School.

The majority of Brookside Estates is connected to the Columbus water system with sewage disposal under the administration of the Franklin County Department of Sanitary Engineers. Natural gas is available through several providers by way of the Columbus Gas transmission system. Electricity is provided by AEP. Telephone and cable services are available through various carriers. Refuse collection is through a private company contracted with Perry Township.

Leaf collection, snow removal and spring brush and branch chipping are provided by Perry Township.
